St. Louise from St. Louis**

**If you don't know the reference, catch me in May of 2010 and maybe I'll explain then :)!

Ok, back to our trip, after we had dinner with Uncle Larry, we stuffed ourselves back into the car and headed 3 1/2 hrs. NE to St. Louis. Since it was already 10:30 at night, we didn't really have a chance to sightsee since we had tickets for the Gateway Arch at 8:40 the next morning. Instead we made it to our hotel, which was really more of a sauna, slept as best we could and woke up to the wonderful pitter patter of rain. Yes, rain on the day that we are going up 630 ft. in an American landmark, so is our luck. But what the heck, it's vacay right, you just go with the flow and make the best of it. So we headed to downtown to see the sights. Once you get inside, they have these pods that you sit in that take you to the top. It seriously felt like some sort of spaceship that would transport you to another planet. The doors slide open and you step in to this brightly lit space with 5 stools in a 1/2 circle. It is a 4 minute ride to the top but we were too busy taking silly pictures that it felt like 30 seconds. After we went back down, we toured the museum and then headed out on the final leg of our trip, WI here we come! I must say, rain and all, this is definitely a city that I would like to visit again and stay for a couple of days...in the sun of course.
